Heritage Planning Sunday Tours

The Planning Authority is hosting a tour which is meant to cultivate awareness about Malta’s heritage planning. Over the past six years, the Planning Authority Sunday tour has become a popular educational and cultural experience for participants; holding its place in the Authority’s corporate responsibility agenda. The public is invited to attend for this tour against a minimal fee of Euro 3 per person which will be donated to Dar tal-Providenza.
 
This year’s heritage planning tour will focus on the locality of Haz-Zebbug, also known as Citta Rohan, and its whereabouts. Participants will be able to appreciate and visit a number of buildings of particular interest; from the monumental entrance gate to the city, typical characteristics of Urban Conservation Areas, other monumental houses, places of historical appeal and other interesting sites and features.
 
The dates of the tour are as follows:

7th May 2017
 
Transport is being provided and leaves from Floriana (in front of the Phoenicia Hotel) at 9:00hrs. The tour will be over by 12:30hrs.
